Elephants in Golden Gate Park. The two elephants (L) Baldy & (R) Queen Jumbo spent the winter away from their normal carnival entertaining, in Golden Gate Park from November 21 1891 to March 8, 1892 at the Children's Quarter. Two shows a day, and rides for the children, under supervision of their trainer 'Professor' H. W. Pett. (JF) [Abell & Priest. Bancroft's History Building, 723 Market St. S.F.]
