Elevated view east From Rincon Hill to Pacific Mail dock with sidewheel steamer boats (identified in one source as the Colorado, built 1865, scrapped 1879, Steamer Senator at right (1865-1882)), sailing ships and Yerba Buena Island in background. Oriental Warehouse (built 1867, still stands 2021 at 650 Delancey St.) at left. Three part wooden structure at center is Occidental Warehouse, used for grain storage, with blacksmith and boiler shops to the left. Ad for C.C. Hastings & Co.
