Davis Kilburn catalog "California's Exposition Grounds. Situated in Golden Gate Parke [Sic], which extends east and west from the city to the sea, and contains an area of 1040 acres. The Exposition Buildings form the four sides of a vast quadrangle. From this central Grand Court, arranged in a series of terraces, rises the Electric Tower, 266 feet in height." [9639.
