Franklin near Washington
View north on Franklin from a window at 2003 Franklin. The house at center was 1730 Jackson. The onetime home of William C. Talbot was built in 1872 (S.C. Bugbee & Son Architects) and demolished in 1931. Beyond it at the NE corner of Franklin is the home he built for his daughter and son in law,
the Talbot-Dutton House, 1782 Pacific, built 1875, which has survived as SF Landmark 57. [View of SF Bay, North on Franklin Street, from Ned's Room at 2003 Franklin]
