Looking east over Eureka Valley and Market Street to bay and hills beyond. Everett Middle School (built 1927) at center. Castro Theater and Most Holy Redeemer Catholic church below center left. Construction in progress on Bay Bridge, before installation of roadway. Construction on the new Mint (site at far left center) has not begun. Construction began August, 1935.
