View west on Folsom toward 7th. 36-line streetcar tracks. Buildings on far right corner still stand , 288 - 298 7th Street (also 1100 Folsom Street) built 1926Doane Paper Co. Just beyond, F.H. Harder Mfg. Co. (former Peerless Light factory), 1116 Folsom, built circa 1907, was later converted to offices with a modern 4th story. General Petroleum, Mobilgas station.

Most buildings on south side of Market east of 2nd Street have since been demolished, including Balboa Building at 2nd Street corner. Flatiron Building at right remains in 2022.
