5th Ave near Irving
January 1, 1951
In 1918, 1269 5th Ave was home to Otto Dreusike, who ran a sheet metal business. In 1923, The Olympian said: %quot;Otto Dreusike has been pestering around the steam room for years trying to use that man-made nature's laboratory for the purpose which it was intended, but, bless my soul, the old steam hasn't had any effect whatsoever on Otto, for he is still just as pleasingly plump as he ever was.%quot;
