View east on Clement from 8th Avenue. Richmond Congregational Church at right at the southwest corner of 7th Avenue. Congress Hall Whiskey advertisement on 538 Clement on the the left, the grocery store of Pietro (Paul) Del Piano. Mr. Piano got out of the grocery business a few years later, and opened three successive saloons in the inner-Richmond, up until Prohibition closed him down.
