View east across Fillmore to Market Street Railway (MSRy) Fillmore Counterbalance Car #623. In 1938, some of these cars were rebuilt, eliminating original curved sides and wire gates.
Smallwook p. 207 per Jack Tillmany 1-8-21 The one Northbound on the grade between Broadway and Valley I have dated 1940. Note the Byllesby shield on the side has now had the frame removed & is smaller.
