Pioneer Place, side entrance to the assembly and banquet hall of the Pioneer Building (Society of California Pioneers) with 'Eureka' and bear statue over the door. Pioneer Place ran west from 4th Street opposite Stevenson. The building was completed in 1886 and was destroyed in April, 1906. [N.S.
