SS Ohioan Shipwreck
October 1, 1936
[men on shore observe the 'Ohioan' on the rocks off Cliff House] SS Ohioan wrecked off Point Lobos, just north of Sutro Baths, just before midnight on October 7, 1936. Rescuers rigged this breeches buoy from shore to ship and safely removed the crew. Wave Motor is visible at right.[F810 SH-534] (GGNRA/Behrman GOGA 35346)
