Past the Temple is St. John's Presbyterian Church, built circa 1866. In 1870, the congregation bought the building from St. James' Episcopal Church [Post Street East Taylor St. 1885 (?) SS-152] [F810 SS-152] (GGNRA/Behrman GOGA 35346)
