South of Market1906 Earthquake and Fire, View north from Market St. to remains of the Humboldt Savings Bank office at 626 Market. The bank refurbished that small building and reopened before moving to a large skyscraper to the west, near 4th Street. ChinatownView west toward collapsed east wall of the Memorial Museum in Golden Gate Park, after 1906 earthquake. Originally constructed as the Fine Arts Building for 1894 Midwinter Fair, it was renamed Memorial Museum in 1895 and eventually became part of de Young Museum. The building was repaired and later demolished in 1929.
