1740-1742 Bryant Street near 17th Street, west side of block. Two-unit dwelling, built in 1905. Classical Revival style, stripped of ornament and clad in Transite siding, with an unusual two-sided bay window on second story and stained glass in upper panes of the chamfered bays. Its twin at left, 1744-1746 Bryant, was extensively restored/renovated as of 2008.

2401 16th Street. The Double Play (named that because Seals Stadium was directly across the intersection) at 16th and Bryant looks no different today than it did 60 years ago. People are still waiting for the bus there. However, you can't get a haircut in the back room anymore.

2826-2830 California Street, on the north side of the block near Divisadero Street. Built circa 1900. In 1951, this building, with flats over a store front, hosted a hardware store owned by Chas. P. Boegershausen on the ground floor. Bagdad Rug & Cleaning Co. is to the right.
