Richmond Inner2526-2528 Post Street near Baker Street. Residential units on north side of street, built 1907. Sign advertising Home Improvements by Ray L. Messersmith displayed on sidewalk in front; probably responsible for the faux brick façade. (Still extant 2023.)
2328 Post Street near Divisadero Street. Circa 1900 flats with transite siding applied. Appears to be next to a parking lot. Laundry is hanging from a line in back. This and the structure next to it are now demolished.
Lower Pacific HeightsThis dual-family residence at 118 15th Ave was built in 1906. In the 1940s, it was home to the Castro family--Albert, Frances and their son Edward.
Lake Street5950 and 5954 California Street are retail spaces on the northeast corner of 22nd Avenue. Residential units above, with entrance (and addresses) on the 22nd Avenue side. Built 1913. Dick's Barber Shop (sign reads: 'Dick's Haircuts are simply swell, it pays to look well') and Sea Cliff Market. Back of Muni Line-1 trolley bus at right. (Still extant 2023.)
Tom's Grocery at 701 Hampshire Street and 19th Street. An apartment house, built 1960, now stands in its place. The three Queen Anne homes, shown behind on 19th Street, built 1895, are still extant.

South of Market648 Taraval at 17th Avenue, on the northeast corner, was built in 1950. It features a retail space on the ground floor with a residential unit above. L-Taraval streetcar tracks in foreground.
West PortalThe Feed Bag, at 3401 California Street and Laurel Street, one of fourteen local restaurants and bars owned by Harry Meharry; later known as Miz Brown's Feed Bag. Friendly waitresses served old-fashioned fare here until it shuttered in 2004.
Laurel Heights / Jordan Park3187 Clay. South side of Clay between Baker and Lyon. This small residence, built circa 1900, was heavily modified in the 1990s to become a two-story home over garage, with square bay windows instead of the angled bay shown here.

Presidio Heights3641 California Street, on the south side of the block near Parker Avenue. This small building, set back with parking lot in front, was built in 1950 and used as medical offices. It has been demolished in favor of a mixed-use residential and commercial space building. The rear of apartment units on Parker are at right.
