Building with Pianos sign at right, the Travelers Hotel at 249-255 O'Farrell on the southwest corner of Carlos Street (built as Hotel Eugene in 1914), was demolished for Hotel Nikko. [5/13/72 - Antiwar protesters march through downtown San Francisco 5/13 in a peaceful demonstration againts President Nixon's Vietnam war policies.
