House moving crew on lunch break, view north towards Turk between Franklin and Van Ness. Building visible across street with arched windows and up on blocks is 770 Turk Street, moved to 1249-1251 Scott Street in November 1974. The house was built circa 1868 for John K. Wood. Oasis Motel visible through the block on Eddy Street.

Garage at left, Ralph's Body and Fender Shop and London Motors. Left to right Victorians were 743, 751, and 763-767 Turk Street. Moved to 132 Scott Street, 1840-1842 Eddy, and 1800-1804 Eddy Street in November 1974. (see also wnp70.10128) Empire Hotel (McAllister and Leavenworth) in the distance at left.

Boarded up building at left was addressed 763-767 Turk at the time and was moved to become 1800-1804 Eddy (corner of Scott) in November 1974. Center building with tower was then 773 Turk and moved at same time to be 1735 Webster. ( see also wnp70.10127)
