Shell Station, 3598 Balboa Street on the NE corner of 37th Avenue and Balboa. Advertisement sign for the Shell News on KRON-TV at center. The Soda Barn is advertised at right. (Today the site is occupied by an apartment building with ground floor commercial storefronts.)

2115-2119 Judah Street, two unit building with commercial space, built 1949. Gas station at left, at the corner of 26th Avenue, replaced by flats in 1958. Empty lot at right with a billboard advertising Oreo cookies.

Currently, this site at 2050 Taraval Street features a 1977 apartment building, but in 1951 it was the site of the Cortopassi Brothers Richfield Service Station.

In March of 1951, 2545 Judah Street at 31st Avenue was Del Edwards's Union Oil gas station. The lot, on the southeast corner, now holds multiple apartments over storefronts.

This building at 4666 Mission Street near Persia Avenue, home of Thomas Valegra Real Estate in 1951, was demolished and is now a parking lot. The building at left, 4680-4690 Misson Street, built 1949, is still extant.
