Golden Gate Park[Richard] Music Concourse, Goethe Schiller Statue. In original location on the west side of the Music Concourse, (current site of the de Young Museum Sculpture Garden) on August 11, 1901. It would be moved to the current east side of the Concourse in the early 1920s. .
Golden Gate Park[Shana] Sailing ship Gjoa being moved across Great Highway to Golden Gate Park. Roald Amundsen's Gjoa was the first ship through the northwest passage in 1906. Donated to San Francisco, she was displayed at the west end of Golden Gate Park from 1909 to 1972, when she was returned to Norway.
