The two elephants (L) Baldy & (R) Queen Jumbo spent the winter away from their normal carnival entertaining, in Golden Gate Park from November 21 1891 to March 8, 1892 at the Children's Quarter. In the background are the ruins of the Pioneer Building (Society of California Pioneers) at 4th and Pioneer Place. The United States National Bank was located at 805 Market St. in the Flood Building after April, 1905. It advertised that its safe deposit vaults were conveniently located on the ground floor.
