View west from Russian Hill from Green Street between Leavenworth and Jones, the intersection of Green and Leavenworth at center. Green Street W of Leavenworth had not been excavated. The octagon house at 1065 Green still stands, with an added story. The house next to it at 1055 Green also still stands, though it was much altered by Julia Morgan in the 1910s.
