Schultze for the Greenwood Estate, to house their Pacific Coast Paper Company. Photo taken after facade was modernized in 1950 by Hertzka & Knowles architects. Tenants in 1951: Ken Edwards, Weil-Kalter Co., Leisenring Printing Co., Andre Paper Box Co., and Arnell of California. Ets-Hokin & Galvan (electrical contractors) in 551 Mission at right. All buildings in view except 545 Mission have been demolished and Shaw Alley at left has been converted to pedestrian use.(AS)
