Golden Gate ParkGolden Gate Park. Family seated on beach next to 'Apple Cider Press" statue. This bronze sculpture by Thomas Shields was displayed during the Midwinter Fair of 1894. M.H. de Young later purchased it for the City of San Francisco. The statue was originally a drinking fountain.
