Looking east to group of men inspecting site of a gas explosion at the terminus of the United Railroads Pacific Avenue cable car line. No one was injured, but 150 feet of roadway was torn up and a fire, reportedly started by gas in the cable channel ignited by friction, ensued. - United Railroads [U02836]
