1906 Earthquake and Fire, View northwest across Marshall Square to ruins of City Hall behind Pioneer (James Lick) Monument in original location. Five men sit on curb and wooden chairs. Furniture and trunks behind. The French-made cannon at center was a Spanish-American war prize. It is now in the Presidio.
