To right, Spring Valley Grammar School (S.C. Bugbee & Son Architect 1865-1866), Larkin St. Presbyterian Church (at Pacific, 1864). On Russian Hill, large house with dark roof is Rudolph Lawler house, SW corner Green & Leavenworth built 1861. In front of it is J. Shade Duncan house c.1857, to its right with Mansard roof and cupola (NW corner Vallejo & Leavenworth), Jabez Clay house. At lower left with Mansard roof, W.C. Talbot house (S.C.
