Frische Grocery, across 18th St. to Eagle Fruit Market prior to the construction of the Twin Peaks Tunnel and extension of Market Street. The spot where this was taken is now underground beneath Market Street, when the tunnel was built and Market Street was extended, a retaining wall was built behind the pictured buildings with Market Street on top of it, cutting off this block of Ord. Two single story Victorians were moved to the back of the lot and rotated 90 degrees to make room for a larger apartment house (4555 18th) moved from directly across the street on the line of Storrie Street.
