According to a 1970's tour guide to The Flood Mansion (no author noted), 'The Library is a replica of the Bromley Room' preserved at the Victoria and Albert Museum. From a 1970's tour brochure (author unknown) of The Flood Mansion: 'During the Floods' tenure. the cortile (Italian garden) had a reflecting pool in the center and a fountain at the east end. The cortile still boasts the giant fern trees brought from Australia for the Panama Pacific Exhibition.' The doors leading to the entrance hall are bronze. .
