According to a 1970's tour guide to The Flood Mansion (no author noted), 'The Library is a replica of the Bromley Room' preserved at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Occupied by Convent & Stuart Hall schools.

From a 1970's tour brochure (author not listed) of The Flood Mansion: 'Working out of the Beaux Arts tradition, in 1912 architects Bliss and Faville chose a classic Italian Renaissance design for the Flood mansion... The gracious entrance is flanked by Italian Sforza lamps...'

From a 1970's tour brochure (author unknown) of The Flood Mansion: 'During the Floods' tenure. the cortile (Italian garden) had a reflecting pool in the center and a fountain at the east end. The cortile still boasts the giant fern trees brought from Australia for the Panama Pacific Exhibition.' The doors leading to the entrance hall are bronze. .
