Large Victorian, three stories with corner tower / turret, possibly on O'Farrell Street after significant fire. Upper stories are burned through the roof.
Westwood Park, 598 Miramar, The Chronicle House. Built over 11 weeks in early 1922. 598 Miramar was the grand prize in the SF Chronicle newspaper's 'Prize Campaign', a subscription drive in which 'nominees'competed for 'votes'awarded by new newspaper subscriptions. The winner was Russell Wilson of Palo Alto.

Passenger train on railroad right of way between Shafter and Revere just east of Hawes, most likely carrying workers for Hunters Point Shipyard. Temporary passenger rail service was run from the Hunters Point shipyard to connect with Southern Pacific trains during World War 2. Hunters Point with worker housing in background.
Hunters Point
Northwest corner of Van Ness & Pine. The Robert N. Graves residence, later the Robert R. Thompson residence, at 1501 Van Ness Avenue. It was built in 1876.
